Which AI assistants work with this converter?+
Pasteful accepts copied text from ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Microsoft Copilot, Perplexity, DeepSeek, NotebookLM and other assistants. It does not connect to your AI account or fetch a conversation.
Can I paste into a Word document that is already open?+
Yes. Choose Copy rich text, place the cursor in Word and paste. Use Download DOCX when the response should become a new document or attachment.
Does it preserve AI-generated tables?+
Simple Markdown tables become editable tables in rich copy and DOCX. Check merged cells, very wide tables and layout tables before sharing.
Does it preserve equations and images?+
Not as native Word equations or embedded images today. Pasteful keeps readable text or a safe reference where possible and tells you what needs review instead of claiming that unsupported content survived.
Is my AI response uploaded?+
No. Parsing, preview, rich copy and file generation run in the browser. Account and payment requests do not include document or clipboard text.
What should I do with a very long answer?+
Use the assistant's copy button on one complete response. Selecting across a long conversation can miss content or copy interface text. Check the first and last paragraph in Pasteful before exporting.
Can I use it on iPhone or iPad?+
Yes. If the browser blocks the Paste button, press and hold inside the editor and choose Paste. Download DOCX when the mobile clipboard flattens a complex table or list.
