- Copy into a Notion page and check the resulting blocks and table cells.
QUESTIONS
Before you
paste.
Will a copied table stay a table?+
Yes, when the source clipboard contains a simple HTML table. Pasteful rebuilds a clean table for Notion. Merged cells are flattened and reported before copy.
Does this create a Notion database?+
No. It creates document table content. Databases, properties, relations and people are Notion objects and must be created in Notion.
What if the source app only provides plain text?+
Pasteful keeps the visible text and tells you that no useful rich formatting was available.
