What stays in the browser
Your document is parsed, cleaned, previewed and converted in the browser. The public formatter does not upload message content to a server.
Clipboard access
Copy happens only after a user gesture. Browsers may require HTTPS and permission for rich clipboard writes. If rich copy is unavailable, Pasteful falls back to text.
Paid access and private text
The entitlement service stores purchase and licence metadata. Pasted message content is kept out of billing records. The same licence can later activate the extension and app.
