Markdown files
Markdown downloads are UTF-8 plain-text files with a .md extension. Headings, emphasis, lists, links, quotes, code and tables remain Markdown source that standard editors can open.
Word documents
DOCX downloads are OOXML packages that Word can edit directly. The exporter uses Word-native headings, paragraphs, numbering definitions, hyperlinks, code styling and table geometry.
Copy or download
Use rich copy when the destination document is already open and you want to insert the result. Use download when you need a standalone file, an attachment or a document with its own predictable page styles.
