Copy the summary, not the transcript
Granola's Copy notes action puts the AI-enhanced note on the clipboard as Markdown. Granola distinguishes that summary from the full transcript, which has its own copy control in the transcript panel. For a Slack follow-up, start with the summary unless people genuinely need the verbatim record.
Copy the Granola note link separately if teammates may need the source. Check its sharing access before posting: a beautifully formatted link is still a dead end for someone without permission.

Edit for the channel, not for the meeting
A meeting note records what happened. A channel update tells people what changed and what they need to do. Put the decision first, keep only the context needed to understand it, then name the owner and deadline for every action.
Do not post a long chronological recap just because the source contains one. Keep unresolved points under a clear Questions heading, and move background detail behind the Granola link.

Use the right Slack paste path
Slack's normal composer has a visual formatting toolbar for emphasis, quotes, code and lists. It also has an optional markup preference, and the two modes do not treat pasted content the same way. Slack says pasted messages appear as plain text when markup mode is enabled.
Paste the Granola summary into Pasteful, choose Slack and review the preview. Use formatted copy for the normal visual composer. If Slack shows literal markers, check whether markup mode is active before changing the source. Pasteful also keeps raw mrkdwn separate for API or workflow use; that is not the default choice for a human message box.

Check the parts most likely to fail
Before sending, inspect one nested list, every link and any table-shaped content in the real Slack composer. Pasteful flattens tables into labelled rows because a message grid is a fragile way to carry decisions and owners. If list indentation collapses in your client, use short bold lead-ins with one list level instead.
Finally, read the update once without relying on styling. A date, owner or risk should still be unambiguous if bold or indentation disappears. Pasteful prepares the clipboard; the current Slack client remains the final authority on what the channel will receive.
